Paradoxx Sound welcomed
the
Magic Band (minus Captain Beefheart) into the studio
for their
reunion album, Back to the Front in February
2003. It was an exciting week with the boys in the band,
Mark Boston, John French, Gary Lucas and Denny Walley.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) was in the
studio shooting footage for a documentary on the Magic
Band's reunion. All Tomorrow's Parties organizer Barry
Hogan and BBC producer Elaine Shepherd filmed everyday
including band interviews, recording sessions and a
behind the scenes look at the making of Back to the
Front.
Matt Groening of Simpson's fame, curator for the All
Tomorrow's Parties, stopped by to be a part of the
extraordinary event.
