Package #1
"Live
In the Studio"
This package is a "live" in the studio recording of 2 songs
including 3 hours of setup, 3 hours of recording time, 4
hours to mix your project and 1 hour for mastering. All
recording is done using our Pyramix hard disk
recording system, or our Sony APR-24. The final mixed
songs are mastered to CD and ready for duplication.
How it works
You may use your own drums, or our Tama drum
set tuned and ready to record. The guitar players need their
guitars, efx pedals and amps. Bass guitar is recorded direct
using a Millennia STT-1 tube recording channel, or your amp
can be miked. If your band has a keyboard player, or DJ, they
will only need their instrument. We do the rest. All vocals
are recorded live at the same time. After recording, your
project is mixed and the final CD will be ready for pick-up in
a few days. The CD face is printed with your band’s name and
the names of your songs.
Extra master printed CDs are available at $5.00
each.
All recorded tracks are backed up and saved for
90 days, so you can come back and do more if you like. Copies
can be provided as .wav files on CDs or DVDs at an additional
$60.00 for 2 songs and $120.00 for 5 to 12 songs.

Band Package #2 "Over-Dub Recording"
This package is a combination of “live” in the studio and
“over-dub” recording of 2 songs including 4 hours of setup,
6 hours of recording time, 4 hours to mix your project and 1
hour for mastering. All recording is done using our
Pyramix hard disk recording system, or our Sony
APR-24. The final mixed songs are mastered to CD and
ready for duplication.
How it works
Same as live in the studio except lead vocals will be
recorded live at the same time, as a guide only. All vocals
are over-dubbed and edited for the best possible results. If
time allows, lead instruments can also be over-dubbed. After
recording, your project is mixed and the final CD will be
ready for pick-up in about 1 week. The CD face is printed
with your band’s name and the names of your songs.

Band
Package #3 "The Real Thing"
This package is the real thing. It includes
10 to 12 songs, 45 min. total CD time including 4 hours of
setup, 48 hours of recording, 48 hours of editing and
mixing, and 3 hours of CD mastering.
We will track your basic rhythm section drums, bass guitars,
keyboards and guide vocal. Then we over-dub lead
instruments. After a rough mix, 4 or 5 versions of all vocal
parts are added. With the vocal parts recorded, we will
start the editing process to compile the best possible
performance.
The next step is mixing where we will adjust EQ, add
compression and apply automation to produce your finished
songs. All recording is done using our Pyramix hard
disk recording system or our Sony APR-24. The
final mixed songs are mastered to CD, ready for duplication.

Vocal
Demo Packages
Paradoxx
Sound can produce vocal demos to fit almost any budget.
Demos made using karaoke CDs sound the best. We can also use
cassette tapes, however the sound quality is not as good and
there is tape hiss to deal with.
Using a
karaoke CD as a starting point, we transfer your music
tracks to our Pyramix digital audio workstation. Then we set
up several microphones and check the sound to find the best
microphone for your voice. After the levels are set and the
best microphone has been selected, we run through the first
song a few times to determine the best method for your vocal
style. Some singers like to sing through the whole song,
others may like to do a section at a time. We can spend as
much time as you like to get the best possible results. With
our Pyramix system we can edit several takes together to get
your best performance. This saves you time and money.
Using a
cassette tape for your music follows the same process with
one exception. After recording the music to our system, we
need to evaluate the level of noise and hiss. If you feel
the noise level is too high, we can remove it at an extra
cost.
After
mixing, we adjust overall level and apply final EQ. Then we
produce the master CD and print your name and the names of
your songs on the CD face.
